If you find you're lacking in a certain area, all you need to do is check in with your buddy. Outside of trial and error, there's no way to know which stats will be buffed by which dialogue choices, so choose what's in your heart and let the game take it from there. Most dialogue options in Eternights will gain the protagonist a point in one of these four areas, with a small indicator popping up as soon as an answer is chosen.There are two main ways to gain points in each of these stats: Normal dialogue, and the protagonist's best friend Chani. The most efficient way to move your relationship along is through the four social skills mentioned before: Acceptance, Confidence, Courage, and Expression. Luckily, each companion follows the same blueprint for romance, so be sure to talk to everyone and take them on dates, and you should be good to go. It is possible to romance each love interest in a single playthrough, which will unlock all of their abilities and turn you into a formidable fighting machine.
